A Message of Hope

Welcome and thank you for looking in. The PLC Party is purpose-driven. It wasn't set up yesterday or day before yesterday. It has been in existence since 1983. You and I need and deserve a political party of this kind.

The thinking behind this Party is simple. Membership of the party is open to those who are ready, able and willing to assist in directing the Party for the benefit of others. This membership is also open to those who sincerely want the experience of being a part of something effective and action orientated; something intuitive and something worth fighting for.

During the last 40 years or so, I have lost count of the number of times that I have been to hell and back; at the hands of state-sponsored institutions, including, but not limited to, the judiciary and police, some members of the legal profession and newspapers.

Although people promotion should be the purpose of any government anywhere on earth, my experience in those 40 years pointed in the opposite direction. That experience pointed in the direction of abusive and intrusive government, of abuse and misuse of authority by judges and police.

In light of all that, I need this Party and I know you need it, too. In my case, I need this Party because I know it can provide answers to some of the issues that I have had to confront and endure during those 40 years.

In your case, You need this Party so that I can share with you and with others in the mainstream society what we can, together achieve, on behalf of our Families and country. There is unfairness in all aspects of life in this country. There is inequality everywhere you turn in this country. There is intolerance on every corner, on every street, and on every cul-de-sac or alleyway. Of course, the fingers of our hands and toes of our feet are not equal, either. But there should be a limit to the powers of the state relative to the rights and freedoms of individuals.

Parliament makes too many laws. As often as they make those laws they repeal them but they forget one thing: yes, any government on earth can make as many laws as it may deem fit. And any government on earth can repeal those laws as often as it may deem fit. But no government can repeal the effects or consequences of the laws they made and repealed.

A person, who was put to jail under a law that has been repealed, cannot be "unimprisoned". Someone who was convicted under a law that has been repealed cannot be "unconvicted". The consequences of laws will always outlive the laws that give rise to the existence of any such consequences.

The society needs to blend its character and ideals with humanity. In the words of Alfred Tennyson, whatever good I can do, let me do it now, for I shall only pass this way but once. In light of all the aforesaid, we are seriously thinking of asking governments everywhere to consider the enactment of a piece of law to be known as ROBIN HOOD Act, an Act to close the gap between unimaginable wealth and undescribable sufferings occasioned by socio-economic inequality.
