Millions of Nigerians are living on less than 1US Dollar a day. Jonathan’s law makers so called and governors are earning as much as NGN26 million naira per calendar month. No one knows just how much Jonathan earns.

The issue of subsidy is likely to turn Nigeria on her head – it could lead to the breakup of the Federation. Nigerians are angry. While the Boko Haram phenomenon is another headache for Jonathan, the subsidy issue will give him the worst form of migraine, from which he will not recover.

EU should not meddle in Nigeria’s affairs. It is the Human Right of every Nigerian NOT to live in abject poverty. It is the Human Right of every Nigerian NOT to be kidnapped and killed by people aspiring to high political office. So many weird things are happening in Nigeria, which defy any kind of rationalization.

Unless that EU Spokesperson – whoever he is – who stated earlier on today that EU backs the Federal Government proposed withdrawal of petrol / kerosene subsidy has already collected a huge sum of dirty money from the FG then, he should padlock his mouth.

No one in the EU Parliament or European Commission will survive one week if invited to live in the condition that ordinary Nigerians live.
