~7-DAY DETENTION RECOMMENDED FOR FOREIGN IMMIGRATION OFFICERS WHO DEPORT BLACK PEOPLE TO NIGERIA ~

NIGERIA, what a country? is the title of a book to be published by the Centre for Community Studies, London and Brussels in March 2011. The Author is Andre J-Salakov.

The title of the book is not meant to be a question and neither the author nor anyone else can answer it even if it is a question.

According to the author, “in fact the title is an expression of bewilderment.  When I saw Nigeria again after 51 years away from the country, I could just about imagine how tears would run down the cheeks of those Britons who “re-discovered” Nigeria around 1875.  If they come back to life today,  they would die almost immediately of cardiac arrest”

The author tells us that “NIGERIA, what a country? is all about a country that has been soaking herself in a filthy pond of vices; ranging from money laundering to embezzlement of  federal government money on a tsunami scale, from murders of politicians by politicians to witchcraft and kidnappings of  school children and able-bodied men whose body parts are sold for consumption”.

Mr. John-Salakov tells us that the British “had wanted to make Nigeria a Garden of England on the West Coast of Africa. Their expectations were cut short however.  Sir James Robertson was directed by Buckingham Palace, on the advice of the Prime Minister of the day to hand over power to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo and Nnamdi Azikiwe”.

Did the British miscalculate?  Were Nigerians too smart for their own good?  Or were they too smart for the British?

The reader will find ready-made and made-to-suit answers to those questions.  The author tells us that, “at the time of independence in 1960, there were only four university graduates in the whole of the Northern Region of Nigeria.  Those four graduates were found among Hausas, Fulanis and other Northerners proper.”

“By contrast, the Yorubas were the brain boxes that kept Nigeria going.  The Ibos and all the other smaller tribes in the Eastern part of the country, were not too far behind the Yorubas.”

“At the time of independence Nigeria was tribal to the core.  The country is still the same, except that since independence tribalism has gone from bad to worse, from worse to worst. ”

“Blood-sucking paganism born of cannibalism, is at the root of the problem facing Nigerian politics.  Some demented politicians employ thugs to go out and kill someone.  Bloods and body parts of victims are then consumed.”

The author paints a picture of “a country that is on a slippery slope to damnation.  The Christian Faith is under attack in Nigeria.  I have met Christians who spend as many as 14 hours out of 24 hours in the day, just praying to Lord Jesus Christ, to save Nigeria”

Mr. John-Salakov then poses the question that is very dear to the hearts of many Nigerians; namely,   WILL PRAYER ALONE SAVE NIGERIA FROM DAMNATION?”

He provides an answer in a positive format and in a negative format.  He says that “PRAYER CAN SAVE NIGERIA FROM DAMNATION BUT FOR AS LONG AS THOSE IN GOVERNMENT AND IN PUBLIC OFFICES CONTINUE TO MAGNIFY THEIR OWN GLORIES, SALVATION FROM DAMNATION MAY ELUDE NIGERIA”.

The author tells us further that, “from the moment that I was offloaded onto the Nigeria soil like an ogre, via Royal Dutch KLM Flight 587 on 22 June 2010, those Holy Angels who have accompanied me in the last 68 years have drawn me closer to the Messiah, the ONE who came to the world in Human flesh and was crucified on the Cross.”

“Yes, PRAYER alone can save Nigeria however, Nigerians in politics, judiciary, army, civil service, and in public and private corporations must REDEEM themselves, because HEAVEN is only available to those who are able, ready and willing to help themselves.”
