 POLITICAL PARTY DESCRIPTIONS

Under the Regulations put in place by the Electoral Commission any registered political may set out its aims, objectives or principles in 12 sentences, made up of 6 words per sentence. To be candid, it is awfully generous of the Electoral Commission.  However, we have a better idea.

Why speak 12 sentences when just one sentence would do? In the PLC, we don't believe in wasting sentences.  It is important that who use English language should not bamboozle their listeners with semantics. Accordingly, we have today amended PLC Party Description.  In other words, the PLC Party stands for -

Complete overhaul of the Welfare State

This will be the Party's Campaign theme from the moment that the Prime Minister announces the date of the general election.
